Family
Paced for children, not for a checklist
Sri Lanka is a small island with slow roads, so the plan matters more than the distance. We keep drives short, put the long ones in the morning, and leave afternoons free for a pool or a beach.
You travel in your own vehicle with your own driver-guide, which means you stop when the children need to stop rather than when a group schedule allows it.

Full FAQIs Sri Lanka a good destination with young children?
It suits families well. Distances are short, food is easy to adapt, and there is a lot to look at between stops. The main thing to manage is the heat and the length of the drives, which is what the itinerary is for.
How long are the drives?
Roads are slower than the map suggests, so we plan around two to three hours between stops and keep the longest legs for the morning.
Can you change a family itinerary once we arrive?
Yes. The trip is private, so your driver-guide can swap an activity or add a beach afternoon on the day. Anything involving a hotel change we handle by phone.
