Oura Travel is a small travel company on the south coast of Sri Lanka. Udaya Pushpakumara, a guide with ten years on the road, founded it and still runs it, and the people who answer your first message are the same people who look after you on the trip.
How we work
We plan private round tours, day excursions, airport transfers and car hire with a driver, and we can add a few days in the Maldives at the end. Every itinerary starts with a conversation about your dates, your group and what you want to see, and we change it until it fits.
Wildlife safaris, the hill country train, beach stays and time in the ancient cities are put together around what you want to see. Our guides and planners look after you from the moment you land until you leave, so you can travel comfortably without worrying about the details.
We were born here and we care about how tourism treats the island, so our trips favour local guides and responsible practices. Whether you travel alone, as a couple or with children, the itinerary is built around you.
