Ich habe Udaya (Den Travel Guide) durch einen Zufall in Sri Lanka kennengelernt. Ich kann sagen dass es die wertvollste Begegnung meines ganzen Urlaubs war. Wir haben die ganze Autofahrt von Ella mach Weligama geredet und uns über die verschiedensten Themen unterhalten. Er hat mir auf dem Weg einige geheime Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt, die Abseits vom Massentourismus sind. Er ist ein sehr offener und angenehmer Zeitgenosse. Einer der nicht wie die meisten Tourguides hier einfach nur an dein Geld wollen. Man merkt dass es ihm wichtig ist den Menschen eine gute Zeit hier zu bescheren. In Weligama hat er mich dann mit seinen Freunden connected, bei denen ich dann meinen restlichen Urlaub verbrachte. Ich habe mit ihnen und mit ihm eine sehr "locale experience" erfahren dürfen. Kurz gesagt hat mir dieser Mann in Sri Lanka einige Türen geöffnet, Erlebnisse beschert die man sonst nirgends anders buchen kann. 10 von 5 Sternen. Daraus wird sich sicher eine langfristige Freundschaft entwickeln. Ich komme wieder!
